Floating Dock Frames | Make Any Shape Dock Yourself!

Do you have a custom dock shape in mind? Or perhaps you have your own decking for your dock but need a strong frame to build it yourself? The aluminum dock frame section is perfect for building or rebuilding any dock. Aluminum is the new standard for floating docks. Lightweight, long-lasting, and strong, aluminum floating docks are the ideal building blocks for residential floating docks. Engineered with strong corner brackets, and a tubular design, these frames are built to last. These aluminum frames can be used to build floating docks, but can also be used to build custom ramps and stationary docks or platforms. 

Furthermore, adding decking is made simple with the built in decking lip on top of the frame, which keeps decking nestled into place and prevents side to side movement. How to build a floating dock:

1. Lay out frame components on flat land with end tubes oriented with the holes facing inward.
2. Arrange the gusseted angle brackets in the corners.
3. Hand-tighten all hardware (included).
4. Add hinges, floats, or accessories, which often share hardware with the internal angle brackets.
5. Connect the second frame to the first with either a hinge kit (recommended every 16ft), or a rigid connection using a 4″ bolt kit.
6. Tighten all hardware with a wrench or socket drill.
