Aluminum Dock Section | Make Any Shape Dock Yourself!

Do you have a custom dock shape in mind? Or perhaps you have your own decking for your dock but need a strong frame to build it yourself? The aluminum dock frame section is perfect for building or rebuilding any dock. The aluminum frame is strong and tall. The average height of a truss dock on the market is 8″, but ours is a whopping 12″ tall, making your dock need less supports and much stronger to rough water and bumps. Therefore Jack Docks’ aluminum frames are the best dock frame you can buy!

The frame accommodates 5/4″ x 48″ decking boards or panels that drop in or bolt in place. For decking options, check out our 4×4 decking panels with choices of materials! Add jack supports, pipe supports, floats, or supports of your own with the pre-drilled utility holes in the frame. Frame kit includes all you need to string together dock sections, but requires a 4FT End Rail on every terminal end of the dock that faces the lake.

How to assemble a Jack Dock frame:

1. Lay out frame components on flat land with end rail facing the shore, right side rail on right, left side rail on left, and short center support tube toward the shore.
2. Bolt middle end rail and end connector to left side rail with the lip facing up.
3. Bolt the right side rail to the end rails and end connector .
4. Secure the center support tubes so that the long tube is on the lake side of the middle end rail, and the short support tube is on the shore side of the middle end rail.
5. Connect the second frame to the first, or cap off the frame with an end rail (last end rail not included).
6. Bolt the diagonal brace in zig-zag shape under the frames.
